Project Challenge
Effective military communications is currently a challenge, especially when a crisis situation arises. It's difficult to reach troops or an entire base via the original phone tree. It's impossible to track who has received the appropriate orders.
Project Solution
To solve this issue, I designed a user experience that allows officers and soldiers to create a list of those they need to contact in a crisis.
This list receives push notifications and SMS, that tracks exactly who read the message and when. Thus, completing the communication loop problem!
The challenges of this project, were accounting for privacy and safety concerns. Created some features to manage private groups for individual military bases.
I was head designer, working with personas from the client, then wireframing and then designing the final UI.
